| R W Phillipps joined the 1st Battalion in France on 7 Oct 1915 with a draft of 50 men. The battalion was relieved on 10 Oct by the 3rd Coldstream Guards and went into billets at Sailly-la-Bourse. They returned to the battle on 26th Oct 1915 and Phillipps was killed on that day. |
