The King's Royal Rifle Corps

Colour Sergeant's Arm Badge 1887-1901

This embroidered badge was worn on the right arm above the three chevrons. It consists of a crown over crossed swords over intertwined stringed bugles. Up until 1887 the badge had a wreath around it. Rifle regiments did not carry Colours but the rank of Colour Sergeant continued.
