| Ensign in the 60th Rifles August 1858. Adjutant of the 2nd Battalion 1866-69. Served with the 3rd Battalion in Zululand and Egyptian campaigns. He was Brigade Major of Ashburnham's Brigade at Tel-el-Kebir. He commanded the 1st Battalion from July 1887 to 1891. |
