Queen's in South Africa



Men of the Queen's Royal West Surreys stand around a maxim gun somewhere in South Africa. They all have cigars, probably captured from a Boer supply wagon. The helmet placed on the front of the gun displays the red diamond shaped patch on the side, with QUEEN'S embroidered in a white curve.
