Cap Badge 1908

The adoption of the peaked forage cap c1907 meant that a regimental badge had to be worn on the front. After the discontinuance of the Imperial Yeomanry in 1908 the Cheshire Yeomanry took on the title CHESHIRE (EARL OF CHESTER’S) YEOMANRY, probably earlier. This badge, in bi-metal or brass, was worn for the rest of the 20th century until 1967.
