Middlesex Duke of Cambridge’s Hussars, Yeomanry Cavalry

These relaxed officers of the Middlesex Imperial Yeomanry wear plain khaki service dress with ankle boots and leggings. Their slouch hats have pale coloured upright plumes that one would expect to be dark green. One description of the hats worn by the Middlesex Hussars in this war claims that dark green cock’s feather were worn in the hat. There are some forage caps on show that look like staff caps.
