E A Bradley served throughout the South African campaign with the 34th Company. He was an original member of the Middlesex Hussars. Sadly he became ill and died of enteric fever at Ficksburg on 31 May 1901. His next of kin was a brother who lived at 81 Charlotte Street, Fitzroy Square, London.
