Middlesex Duke of Cambridge’s Hussars, Yeomanry Cavalry


Captain S E Hall


S E Hall came from Palmers Road, New Southgate, London. He had previous experience in the Bechuanaland Border Police, and was a corporal in the Gun Section of 34th Company IY. He was promoted to sergeant on 11 May 1900 and commissioned at Ficksburg on 5 Mar 1901. He was promoted to Captain in July 1901 and remained in South Africa with the New Yeomanry. He was killed in action at Tweefontein on Christmas Day 1901.
