| Redan Massy went out to the Crimea with the new scarlet tunic which was double breasted. He was probably still on crutches when he returned to Trinity College, Dublin in 1856 at the age of 18. His green collar has a crown badge which shows that he was a lieutenant at that stage. He has a Crimea medal with a clasp for Sebastopol. |
