Mount Foroli

This is a picture of Mount Foroli showing the Ethiopia/Kenya boundary cut. Mount Foroli lies exactly on the Kenya-Ethiopia border, and the Boran believed that a snake god abode at the very top, some 4,000 feet above the plain. I had been told, on an earlier safari, that it would be alright to climb the mountain (which I did) but I was asked to stay below the summit.
