Officers' gold cord shoulder board

This example, with embroidered Inspector badge attached, was issued in 1990. The gold cord shoulder board saw the gold cord affixed to a red stiffener. The outer end of the board was held in place by the shoulder strap of the tunic which passed through a narrow, laterally-positioned strap on underside. The collar end of the board was held in place by a post button. The metal shoulder badge was not worn on the gold cord shoulder board.
