9th Bhopal Infantry

This photo taken in Fyzabad in January 1912 is of British and Indian officers placed between each other. They all wear the same pattern pouchbelt of brown leather with silver whistle and chain with the badge featuring the fish and IX in a wreath. The British officers have a forage cap with their full dress tunics. At this time, no cap badge was worn. The Indian officers have a much plainer tunic with chocolate coloured facings.
