The circular badge is from the centre of the helmet star badge and features the ubiquitous Irish harp, but the collar badges below are the shields from the arms of Nassau depicting a rampant lion. The scrolls beneath are inscribed with the regimental motto VIRTUTIS NAMURCENSIS PRAEMIUM. These badges are in brass but earlier collar badges were silver.
