William John McToal of the 6th Battalion Royal Irish Regiment was killed in action on 9th Sep 1916 aged 30. He was born in Ballymoney and lived in Loughguile. In 1904 he married Fanny Workman. He enlisted at Ballymoney and was given the service number 2079. His name is on the memorial at Thiepval.
