Namur

This model of the town of Namur is as it was at the time of the siege in 1695. The main river is the Meuse. The Sambre is a tributary that runs into the Meuse between the town and the fortress which is on a hill overlooking both rivers. The bastion walls defend the town and a moat runs around the outside of the walls.
