Sir Frederic Kenyon

Sir Frederic Kenyon was to the arbiter-in-chief over the form and design that was to be used for the graveyards and memorials. As the Director of the British Museum it was felt that his artistic advice would be highly invaluable and would help give the chosen style a sense of history and permanence.
