Notes | Decoy's crew served as part of the Naval Brigade in operations on the Gold Coast as part of the Ashantee campaign of 1874. The ship also was present at the bombardment of Alexandria in 1882 and helped blockade the Nile in 1883. Her crew were involved in the campaigns in Egypt and Sudan 1884/5. |
