Out on a Limb

Spanish Stamps Showing Fernando Poo

Fernando Poo had been a distinct Spanish colony until 1926 when it was attached to the Province of Spanish Guinea for administrative purposes. This lasted until 1960 when a form of partial decolonisation was attempted before full independence was granted to Equatorial Guinea. Fernando Po was renamed as Bioko.
