How has the Empire been taught in British Schools

Comprehensive School

This pictures shows Stratford School in West Ham. It is typical of many of the new Comprehensive Schools built in the 1960s - often using materials like concrete, glass and steel. They had far better facilities than any previous schools, but were often on impersonally large.
