Marjorie Lovatt Smith


Marjorie Lovatt Smith was born in 1925 and joined the ATS as a Kine Theodolite Operator towards the end of the Second World War. She then served a two and a half year tour in Uganda, followed by a tour of service in Nigeria. Her interests include training gundogs, breeding sheeop and growing orchids. She has done many different voluntary jobs including a five year stint as a County Councillor and a member of the Citizens Advice Bureau.
