Charles Eric Mosley Mayne 1879 - 1948
Major, Bengal Cavalry, Retired 1925
As a baby of seven months he, his mother (Anna Maria) and his sister Gladys (who tells the story) were saved when the SS Vingorla foundered off Bombay with the loss of 75 lives on Leap Day (29 February) 1880.
