Plymouth's Boer War Memorial


Plymouth was a natural place to commemorate the Boer War given the number of soldiers who had passed through the port, the contribution of the Naval Brigades and local regiments such as the Devon Regiment. The Boer War Memorial was located just outside the Citadel and is still there today.
