Millbay Docks in General Strike of 1926


Millbay Docks became a battleground in the General Strike of 1926 as dockers went on sympathetic strike with miners in their struggle. This picture shows strike breakers who were brought in to replace them and was printed in the local press which was deeply hostile to the General Strike.
