| The Sani Pass is the highest Pass (over 9,400 ft) that crosses the Drakensberg Mountains on the border between Basutoland and South Africa. In 1957 it was still a narrow bridle path used by pack animals for bringing up supplies to Mokhotlong, the District H.Q. Today it is a metalled road used by tourists visiting the Maluti Mountains. |
