This photograph shows the medals awarded to Captain Gibb for his long and distinguished service in Somaliland. His collection happens to be the only one that represents the whole medallic history of Somaliland in one group of medals! He was the only (apart from Musa Farah, MBE ) to get all 6 campaign bars for the Somaliland campaigns from 1900 - 1920 against The Mad Mullah. Picture courtesy of Christopher Hill.
