Tororo Cement Works


At the time, Tororo Cement Works, in the East of the colony, made the vast majority of cement in Uganda. Over time, the quality of calcium carbonate in the west of Uganda was of such high quality that production was started in the west of Uganda also at Hima near to where the Collins family discovered their calcium carbonate deposits.
