Mounted Officer in Review Order 1910

The 10th Hussars, stationed at Rawalpindi, had few occasions to wear dress uniform but this officer posed with his charger, wearing the dress tunic, boots and breeches, and a white Wolseley helmet that has a gilt spike on top. The fur busby was not usually worn in India. The dress tack is seen here, with the full leopard skin. This differs from the Harry Payne postcard that shows a red scalloped edge to the skin.
