Drumhorse, Review Order 1902

Simkinā€™s print of the 10th Hussars drumhorse is a record of the new drum banners making their first appearance at the Coronation of King Edward VII on 9 Aug 1902. The new horse is also on public show, being a grey, to replace Old Bob who was a bay. The cowrie shell tack and scarlet shabraque remain the same as before, the guelphic crown now being out of date.
