Drumhorse 1927

The grey drumhorse of the 10th Hussars paraded with the mounted band for the Lord Mayor’s Show in London on 27 Dec 1927. The band were in khaki service dress for the parade. The drum banners are red to match the shabraque, and have the battle honours for WW1 which were added to the 1911 banners. This photo shows the first time that the re-worked drum banners were seen in public.
