Back of the Officers’ Pouch-Belt


This detail from a photo of the Prince of Wales’s uniform shows the gilt buckle, tip and slide at one end of the belt. In this case the ornaments are Victorian as can be seen by the VR cypher on the tip. Unfortunately the cap-lines hide the ring on the side of the pouch, which attached to the belt. But the angle of the photo does show the gilt laurel leaves on the side of the pouch.
