Officers’ Buttons


H G Parkyn’s book of Shoulder-Belt Plates and Buttons has the left hand button illustrated. It is described as pewter, c 1783, with a roped rim. The right hand button is flat, 16.5mm across, made of copper alloy. Dated 1783-1796. It comes from: Dragoons & Light Dragoons Buttons
