Officer’s Shoulder-Belt Plate 1844


The silver Star of St Andrew on a frosted gilt plate, with a gilt St Andrew on blue enamel and THE ROYAL REGIMENT beneath. This shoulder-belt plate was worn by officers of the regiment until 1855 when the uniform was changed from the coatee to the tunic.
