The same shako as seen on the model wearing the full uniform is shown here for closer inspection. The pattern on the silver lace around the top has the regular oak-leaf design. The black horsehair plume is fixed to a silver plume-holder that has a leaf design above a plain silver ball. The badge is gilt and silver, having the numeral 3 inside a garter inscribed BENGAL LIGHT CAVALRY. The gold cap lines are not attached to the hook on the right side as they are on the model, but the corded festoon can be seen to be separate from the cord cap-lines.
