This panoramic print of Chillianwallah depicts Lord Gough’s Army drawn up in smart ranks and Colours carried. Horse-drawn guns are placed in the middle and various mounted officers can be seen in front of the infantry. Gough, himself, is on a grey charger in the middle distance with buff coat and white hat, surrounded by his staff. On the right of the line there are squadrons of cavalry creaking a dust cloud. They are probably the 2nd Cavalry Brigade of which the 6th BLC was a part. In the middle distance are elephants harnessed to heavy guns and in the foreground various mounted figures from Irregular Cavalry units and an mounted officer with a blue jacket, white breeches and jackboots who could be a regular cavalry officer of a BLC regiment.
