Officer’s Dirk post-1902 Knife & Fork

The scabbard had pockets for the small knife and fork. The handles are carved wood with small brass studs. The gilt pommels have cairngorms fitted so that they tilt outwards when inserted in their pockets. These are officer’s items. The pipers, drummers and bandsmen also had dirks but without the knife and fork, however, the pipe major and bandmaster had dirks with knives and forks.
