Fitness Training by Marines

In order to prepare the soldiers for the arduous campaign in front of them, an elaborate fitness program was developed around the Canberra cruise ship. They would run laps around the deck and undergo makeshift assault courses up and down the stairwells and through the ship itself. It was imperative that the soldiers arrive in the war zone in peak physical fitness.
