San Carlos Bay


This painting by Derek George Montague Gardner shows the Argentine Air Force screaming in to drop bombs and attack the waiting fleet as it unloaded the invasion force. The Argentine Air Force was the one Argentine arm that acquitted itself admirably in terms of professionalism and bravery.
