13th Hussars

Patrol Jacket

Front and rear view of the special pattern adopted by the 13th Hussars in the latter half of the 19th century. It was dark blue, laced and braided with black silk. The collar and cuffs are covered in astrakan fur. It is very like the old hussar pelisse. The hanging ends of the black lace do not do up; hooks and eyes down the front keep the jacket closed.
