These two wear stable dress. The sergeant on the left has gold lace round his pill box cap and gold lace stripes on his right arm surmounted by a gun badge and crown. The lance-bombadier on the right has a yellow cloth cap band with a chevron above. His rank stripe is on his upper right arm and good conduct inverted chevron on his fore-arm.
