Royal Artillery

Drumhorse, 1914

Harry Paynes painting of the drumhorse gives us a view of the musician's white leather pouch worn on the back. The tunic is plainer than the other musicians as it is in the Musicians 1880. The cuff is ornamental though. His busby plume is worn on the front. The belt round his waist is red and blue. Note the reins attached to his stirrups.
