He wears the normal RA officer's tunic with full dress pouchbelt and waistbelt. He does not have red cuffs like the other ranks. The busby is the same as that worn by officers of the RHA, having a plain black leather chinstrap and white plume (the rest of the band wear a red plume). He holds the rank of major.
