Royal Artillery

Back of Musicians, 1997

The pocket flaps are edged in gold cord with three buttons either side. A thin red welt runs down the middle between them. The musician's sword is carried on a black frog attached to an invisible belt. As can be seen from the man in front, not all of them carry this weapon. The gold lace pouchbelt has an undress pouch with RA gun badge. The overalls are tight-fitting and spurs are worn to remind us of their mounted origin.
