Patrol Jacket

Each cavalry regiment had its own pattern of patrol jacket. The 1900 dress reulations show photographs of each one. This pattern for the 11th Hussars has the unusual feature of cords like those that were on the pelisse before 1855. For method of wearing, see Officer in Patrol Jacket. They were also worn open with the stable jacket and pouchbelt underneath.
