Queen's Royal Hussars

RSM, No.1 Dress c2003

Regimental Sergeant-Major Euan Johnston is in blue no.1 Dress with the red collar inherited from the 3rd Hussars. The collar badges are also those of the old 3rd Hussars. His sleeve badges are the coat of arms on red backing cloth which denotes his status as the senior Warrant Officer, and the embroidered NCO's badge of the combined QO and harp on a garter blue backing. His officer style forage cap has, surprisingly, a gold edged peak like the field officers, and he wears a dress pouch-belt of 7th Hussar pattern which used to be the privilege of senior officers.
