10th Gurkhas

On Parade, 1997

In July 1994, the British Gurkha regiments amalgamated to form The Royal Gurkha Rifles. The 10th became the 3rd battalion of the RGR. In this photo taken in 1997, the British officer shows the Burma elephant badge on his upper sleeve. He is inspecting the band who wear white jackets in full dress. The other ranks now wear the red tourie on their caps.
