This man wears the full dress Kilmarnock cap with service dress. Shorts were introduced in May 1906 to replace the knickerbockers in summer. The bugle cords for the 6th were green. There was a bagpipe band in the 2nd battalion from 1904-1914 and it was reformed in 1923. They didn't wear tartan.
