101st Grenadiers

Naik, 1908

A Punjabi Musalman. He wears a low collared blouse with white shoulder straps and white piping. The medals are difficult to identify, but may include one for the 1903 Delhi Durbar. His khaki turban has a brass bomb badge on the front and, just visible the red kullah and blue end with white fringe.. The white and pink striped kummerbund under the brown leather belt is very striking.
