58th Vaughn's Rifles

Sketches, c1913

The turbans are all drab except the bandsman at bottom left who has a green one. The kullahs are red. The Sikh has a red pag showing on his forhead. The right hand figure clearly has brass buttons and buckle whereas the Sikh officer does not. The facings are all green, including the ends of the turbans, the officer having a gold fringe. The odd thing is that the British officer's helmet spike is indicated as being green where we would expect it to be silver.
