11th Hussars

Bandsman's Pouchbelt 1950

The band retained the use of the pouchbelt after they were dicontinued in 1900. The band pouch was larger than the ones worn by the rest of the regiment and they were white leather instead of black. They were large enough to hold sheet music. The badge is a cypher combining the letters PAOH for Prince Albert's Own Hussars. The pouchbelt continued in use to modern times.
