Lieutenant-Colonel J Tyndale-Biscoe, c1911



Tyndale-Biscoe was commanding officer when Crown Prince Wilhelm of Prussia was made Colonel-in-Chief of the regiment. He is in full dress here with the full leopard skin saddle cover that was adopted by the 11th on the abolition of the embroidered shabraque. The horse-hair throat plume on the bridle is crimson and white.
